FractatR is a unique process in which a specific type of laser pulse is used to create small channels into the skin about the tattoo. The Q-Switch Laser System at Facelab is arguably the most advanced skin aesthetic lasers available. This laser can emit four different wavelengths of laser energy at nanosecond speed. This unique laser pulse enables the generation of a high energy photoacoustic effect at the treatment site. When the pigment is ‘hit’ by this energy, it bursts into much smaller particles which are then dispersed and removed by the body’s immune system. The wavelengths can be altered depending on the tattoo colour.
Most sessions will be short depending on the size of the tattoo and several appointments 3-4 weeks apart are required to remove tattoos scarlessly.
